HUNTER×HUNTER Collaboration Glasses Shopping Request
Today, our Treasure Hunter visited a local optical store in Taiwan to complete a special shopping request for a customer in Dubai: a pair of officially licensed HUNTER×HUNTER collaboration glasses.
About HUNTER×HUNTER
Created by Japanese manga artist Yoshihiro Togashi, HUNTER×HUNTER began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1998. The story follows Gon Freecss, a young boy who sets out to become a licensed Hunter and find his father.
During his journey, Gon meets many unforgettable characters, including Killua, Kurapika, Leorio, Hisoka and Chrollo. With its imaginative world, strategic battles and unique system of Nen abilities, HUNTER×HUNTER has become one of Japan’s most internationally recognized manga and anime series.
The HUNTER×HUNTER Eyewear Collection
This officially licensed eyewear collection was created in collaboration with Megane Ichiba, a Japanese optical brand known as “Optical Shop 眼鏡市場” in Taiwan.
The collection includes six designs inspired by popular HUNTER×HUNTER characters: Gon, Killua, Kurapika, Leorio, Hisoka and Chrollo.
Instead of simply printing character images on the frames, each design incorporates recognizable elements from the character’s appearance, personality and Nen abilities. Small inscriptions in the fictional Hunter alphabet are also hidden on the frames, giving fans an extra detail to discover.
This thoughtful approach makes the glasses practical enough for everyday wear while retaining the special appeal of an anime collectible.
A Closer Look at the Hisoka Design
The pair selected by our customer is the Hisoka-inspired model.
Hisoka is one of the series’ most distinctive and unpredictable characters. His magician-like appearance, playing-card motifs and mysterious personality are reflected in the design of these glasses.
The transparent rounded frame gives the glasses a clean and modern appearance, while the purple decorative details and angular temples add a subtle theatrical touch. The design also draws inspiration from Hisoka’s Nen ability, Bungee Gum, known in the series for possessing the properties of both rubber and gum.
These references are noticeable to HUNTER×HUNTER fans, but they are incorporated discreetly enough that the glasses can still be comfortably styled with everyday outfits. It is a lovely balance between wearable eyewear and character-inspired memorabilia.

Because this was a physical-store shopping request, our Treasure Hunter Mama went directly to the shop on the customer’s behalf.
Shopping in person allowed us to locate the requested design, see the frame with our own eyes and check its general appearance before bringing it back. This is especially helpful for limited-edition collaborations and products that may not be easy for overseas customers to purchase directly.
Mission accomplished—the HUNTER×HUNTER glasses have now been secured!
Our next step is to pack them carefully and arrange international delivery from Taiwan to their new owner in Dubai.
